From the supplier: The Alaska insurance department is expressing increased concern regarding insurance companies' ability to control financial examiners' access to their internal audit data by invoking attorney-client privilege. Allstate Insurance Co has refused to disclose its internal audit data to insurance examiners fearing loss of data confidentiality. The Alaska insurance department classifies Allstate's action in violation of the state's law and will consider administrative actions against the company.
